A gorgeous set of ten (10) antique English porcelain coffee cups with matching saucers, possibly made by Coalport during the Regency period, c. Cups are footed and bell shaped with pointed handles, and the saucers have upturned edges. All are decorated in an Imari-inspired pattern with cobalt blue bands, gold gilt foliate, and blue and red flowers. 2.75"h x 2.75"dia at top opening (including handle, 3"h x 3.5"l x 2.75w), saucers measure approx. 1"h x 5.5"dia.
Overall, this set is in fair/poor antique condition, displaying general wear consistent with age, such as decoration fading/loss, surface scratches (especially to saucers), fine crazing, discoloration/staining, and gilt oxidation. These pieces also display some damages, such as a nicks to one saucer rim and several footed undersides, a crack to one saucer's foot, and cracks to two saucer undersides, there are also one or more hairline cracks to most cup rims, nicks to two cup undersides, and a nick to the rim of one cup - see pictures.
