Meissen Hand Painted Sepia Rose & Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer C. Decorated with hand painted speia and red roses with gold leaves and stems. Scalloped gold gilding along the edge and gold highlights to the handle. Marked on the bottom with the blue crossed swords mark with a star underneath, used by Meissen between 1774 and 1817. Signed EE on the bottom of the saucer.
Has some wear to the gilding and a small flake to the top corner of the handle. The cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide.
